AUGUST:

August was another great month.  We explored two farms here on the Southcoast.  One raises animals for meat & cheese production, and the other is an alpaca hobby farm.  These type of trips are our favorite.  We learn about animal husbandry and where food and fiber comes from when harvested in a respectful and responsible manner.  Good stuff all around.  There was of coarse some swimming and beaching in there; an unusual jelly and a puffer fish were the prized finds of one day.
